PALS Bereavement Services – How We Can Help

Support and Assistance

We provide sympathetic support and assistance to bereaved relatives and carers by helping them through the procedures following the death of a patient at the hospital.

Unfortunately there are a number of formalities to be dealt with and decisions and arrangements that need to be made.

The PALS team can help you deal with issues such as:

  • The coroner and coroner's office
  • Funeral directors
  • Registering the death
  • General practitioners
