Reception

PALS - Patient Advice and Liaison Service

Reception. The Great Western Hospital reception is in the Main Atrium.

Transport. This can only be arranged if you have a medical need. There is a Patient Information Leaflet which provides full details. Please ask a member of staff for one.

Coming for your outpatient appointment. Information on your appointment times.

Coming to stay as an in-patient. What to bring if you are staying overnight at the hospital.

Pharmacy. There is a pharmacy at the Great Western Hospital on Level 1.  
Chaplaincy. Chaplains work with all departments in promoting the well-being of patients, relatives and staff. The Chaplaincy is on Level 1 of the Great Western Hospital, to the right of the main lifts, before the Eye Clinic.

 

Volunteers and Fundraisers. Helping our patients, visitors and carers and supporting the hospital trust charity.  
Hospital Radio. Broadcasting to patients and playing their musical requests.  
British Red Cross Independent Living Services. Practical and emotional support for patients.
