The Children’s Unit is on Level 2 of the Great Western Hospital.

Visiting Hours Unrestricted for Parents. Visitors are politely requested to leave the ward by 8pm. Overnight stays for a parent can be arranged. |
Children's Mealtimes Breakfast – 8.00am Please speak to a member of staff if your child needs any special diet |
Security There is secure access to the Children’s Unit. All visitors will need to use the buzzer to confirm their identity before gaining access. It would also be helpful if you could please bring along your child’s Personal Health Record book if you have one

Baby feeds The unit keeps a small supply of baby milk and jars of food for patient use. If you need to heat your baby’s feed please ask a member of staff. |
Nappies We do keep a small supply of nappies, but we do ask parents to bring nappies in with them. |
