Discharge/Transport Lounge

The Discharge/Transport Lounge is on the Ground floor at the West entrance of the Great Western Hospital.

On the day of your discharge from hospital, you may be transferred to the Discharge Lounge. There is a pick up and drop off point for vehicles collecting patients just outside the main West entrance.

The Discharge Lounge staff can also help speed up the provision of your medication upon discharge, as well as assisting with information on your medication should you need it.
