The Great Western Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust (formerly the Swindon and Marlborough NHS Trust) provides health services from two main sites - the Great Western Hospital in Swindon, which is a district general hospital, and Savernake Hospital in Marlborough. The Swindon and Marlborough NHS Trust was formed in 1994. The trust achieved foundation status and became the Great Western Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust in December 2008. The trust employs 3,300 staff, we serve a population of about 300,000 people and our annual turnover is around £156 million. |
