Your Room The rooms are decorated to a very high standard and are fitted with en-suite facilities; all have remote control satellite colour television, radio and direct dial telephone, and are fitted with emergency equipment and electrical beds for your comfort and safety. Nurse Call System You will find a handset at your bedside which enables you to call for assistance at the touch of a button. Please do not hesitate to use it to call the nursing staff, as required. |

Meals All meals are freshly prepared and a first class selection is available from the menu, providing high quality cuisine to aid your speedy recovery. Visitors are welcome to join you for a meal; please ask a member of staff who will be happy to arrange this service for you |

Direct Dial Telephone & Fax Machine Rooms are equipped with a direct dial telephone for your use free of charge for local phone calls. A fax machine is available in the Administration Office, should you need to use it. Visitors Visitors are always welcome, but should check with the nursing staff prior to entering a patient's room. Should your Consultant or Nursing Team come in to see you, your visitors may be asked to wait outside in the reception area. Newspapers During your stay a complimentary newspaper of your choice will be delivered to your room each morning. Hair-Dressing This chargeable service is available to patients (prices available on request); please refer to the individual leaflets or ask a member of staff for details. Smoking Our Trust is a non-smoking site and smoking is not permitted anywhere. Religion Access to Chaplains of various denominations is available at any time. Please ask the Ward Sister to arrange this for you. On the first floor of the main hospital there is also a multi-faith chaplaincy centre. |
